Abubakar Mansur Mohamed, a suspect wanted in the United States for ivory related offenses, has been arrested in Mombasa county.
Detectives from the DCI arrested him, after reportedly arriving in the coastal city aboard a chartered flight from Yemen on Wednesday.

Mansur who was arrested at Moi International Airport, is among two others who were still at large, facing charges of conspiracy to sell rhino horns and elephant ivory valued at Sh74 million and has been placed under lawful custody awaiting further processing.
Another suspect, Abdi Hussein Ahmed is yet to be arrested as the noose on several suspects believed to be behind narcotics trade and ivory tightens.
